Our Rules and Regulations

Below you will find our Rules and Policies that will help you better prepare for your stay with us. Please read through each tab. We look forward to having you visit us.

  • Quiet Hours 11p-7am
  • Speed Limit is 5mph unless otherwise posted.
  • Obey all posted signs, placards, warnings and staff.
  • Park in designated areas only. No parking on grass at any time.
  • Trash – Dispose of all trash in the dumpster provided.
  • Fires – In campsite fire pits on approved areas only. County fire bans will be posted.
  • Golf Carts by licensed drivers only. No ATVs or Side-By-Sides allowed.
  • Noise pollution of any kind will not be tolerated. Excessively loud groups, vehicles, boats (including jet boats, speed boats, and air boats) are a nuisance and disturbance to other campground guests and is not allowed. Generators may not be used after sunset.
  • Check-In time is 3pm. We cannot guarantee cabin availability until 3pm and is strictly enforced
  • Check-Out time is 11am. Please notify the Marina Office to see if late checkout is an option. (fee required)
  • Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak season (April 1st-October 31st).
  • A Major Credit Card is required to hold all reservations. You are not charged until arrival, unless you choose the ‘Pay Now and Save’ rate.
  • If you choose to pay cash, a $250 security deposit is required on a Major Credit Card for each cabin.
  • Payment is due upon check-in and full payment is required prior to us giving you your key.
  • When booking three or more properties (cabins or rv sites), we require full payment when booking and this is non-refundable. We strongly recommend each member of large groups to book their reservations individually.
  • Minimum stay is 2 nights during the peak season (April 1st- October 31st) and during Texas and Oklahoma Spring Break weeks (Usually middle of March).
  • Holiday Weekends and other special events require a 3 night minimum.
  • Minimum age of renter is 25 years old and must be present during stay.
  • If the office is closed when you arrive, we require using our Online Check-In Process. Make sure you sign up for text alerts for instructions. This can be done at TexomaDestinations.com/myvacation.
  • All of our cabins feature cable tv and are equipped with towels, linens, basic dishes and cooking utensils, a refrigerator and microwaves (unless otherwise specified on the cabin’s page). Damage, loss, or theft to any of these items will result in your credit card being charged. Each towel or linen damage is a minimum fee of $10.00 per item.
  • Our housekeeping staff works hard to clean and maintain each cabin, and all cabins are freshened prior to your arrival. After your stay, you should leave cabin neat & tidy, remove all personal items and foods from cabin, wash all dishes and cooking utensils, and collect all garbage and place in the dumpsters provided at the entrance. Please report any damages or other issues to Marina Office prior to your departure. If a cabin is left excessively dirty a minimum fee of $250.00 may be charged to your credit card.
  • If you have any issues with the cleanliness of your cabin upon arrival, please feel free to contact the Marina Office and we will send Housekeeping to assist you. Please note that no discounts or refunds will be made if you fail to notify us of issues until your departure.
  • Keys can be left in cabin and lock the door behind you. Failure to return keys will result in a $25.00 per key fee charged to your credit card.
  • Cabin tenants must obey all posted rules and are not allowed on boathouses or docks except for the fuel dock & general store and the fishing dock / fish cleaning station located on Boathouse 3. If you need a nightly slip for your boat along with your cabin, please notify us when making your reservation. Nightly slips are available on a first come first serve basis to our guests for $25.00 per night (covered).
  • Please be respectful and courteous to the other guests at the Marina. Quiet Hours are from 11pm-7am. The first time you have to be warned you will be assessed a fine of $75. If problem persists, we reserve the right to eject any person or persons who create a disturbance or become a nuisance without refunds.
  • Excessive noise or disturbances will not be tolerated at any time. We reserve the right to eject any person or persons who create a disturbance or become a nuisance without refunds.
  • All of our cabins are non-smoking. There is a $250 deep cleaning fee for smoking in a non-smoking cabins.
  • We do not allow any tents on our property. Tents cannot be placed outside of a cabin.
  • You acknowledge and understand that each guest or guardian is solely responsible for any loss by any person while on premises including the loss of money, jewelry or any other personal item. You should take precautions such as locking your auto and cabin and removing valuables
  • Lighthouse Resort and Marina is not responsible for any accident or injury to any person while on premises, and that accepts no legal or financial responsibility.  You, your guests, and guardians, assume all risk of injury or other loss resulting from any recreational activity and will hold us harmless.
  • For ‘PAY AT CHECK-IN’ rates we require 14 days advance notice to avoid being charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay.
  • For ‘PAY NOW AND SAVE’ rates, once confirmed, reservations are non-refundable and no changes (except adding days) can be made. Additionally, our reservation agents cannot access your reservation or make changes or cancellations. Any modifications must be done online through your account.
  • All packages (such as The Family Fun Package, Delivery Firewood, etc) have a 3 day cancellation.
  • For Large Group Bookings (3 or more cabins and/or RV sites) full payment is required at time of booking and is non-refundable.
  • Once you have checked-in, you are responsible for payment for your entire stay. If you need to depart prior to your original check-out date, please see management.
  • There are no refunds for late check-ins or early departures.

No refunds will be made for early checkout, cancellations due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical/electrical failure or malfunctions with TVs or other equipment, family emergencies, sightings of insects and rodents or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • Cancellations must be made via phone (903.361.5070). Emails or messages are not accepted as a form of cancellation. Please make sure you speak with a live agent and receive a cancellation confirmation.
  • If you are booking within the cancellation period, your credit card will be charged for the first night’s stay at the time of the booking.
  • Some, but not all of our cabins are Pet-Friendly at Lighthouse. Please only take pets into Pet Friendly Cabins only.
  • There is a non-refundable pet fee of $35.00 if you bring a pet.
  • Pets must remain on a leash at all times.
  • Please don’t leave your pet unattended.
  • Excessive barking, or pets not leashed may be cause for immediate and non-refundable eviction.
  • There is a $250 deep cleaning fee charged if you bring pets to non-pet friendly cabins.
  • Your credit card may be charged for damages if any damages arise due to pets.
  • Pets are not allowed aboard any of our rental boats.
  • Please keep your boat slip clean and maintained.
  • Keep slips free and clear of tripping and other safety hazards.
  • No Glass Bottles of any kind in boathouses.
  • You are responsible for securing your vessel to the boat slip. Please take precautions to make sure your vessel is tied properly.
  • No batteries, gas cans, propane or other flammable materials allowed. Dangerous materials will be removed at Boat Owner’s expense. Fuel cans are not allowed on Boathouses.
  • Fuel should be purchases from a Licensed Fuel Dock, or trailered to a gas station on land.
  • Fish cleaning is allowed in designated areas only. Fish remains shall be disposed of as posted at designated fish cleaning areas.
  • No docking in vacant or unoccupied slips. Only vessels registered with the Marina shall be permitted in the slip assigned to that vessel.
  • No commercial operations allowed at Lighthouse Marina without prior written agreement with Marina Office.
  • Place all trash in the receptacles provided.
  • No modifications to slip/boathouse without prior written approval from Marina Office. Prior to beginning any work, all contractors must chek-in at Marina Office.
  • No running, jumping or diving from docks. No swimming in Marina traffic areas.
  • Children 13 and under should wear Coast Guard approved life jackets when on boathouses.
  • Any damage, theft, trouble, issues, boats sinking, structural issues with boathouses, safety concerns, other problems should be reported immediately to Marina Office.
  • Lighthouse Marina assumes no responsibility for personal injury or property damage.
  • Age requirements for pontoon rentals is 21 years old.
  • Pets are not allowed aboard any rental boat.
  • Boats will be sent out with full fuel and refueled when you return. You will pay for the fuel used during your rental.
  • A $50 reservation fee is required to hold the reservation at time of booking.
  • Full payment and a $500 damage deposit on a major credit card is due at the time of rental.
  • All rentals start at the time of reservation. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time to allow time to complete paperwork and receive instructions. PLEASE NOTE: We open at 8AM (APR-OCT) and 9AM (SEP-MAR)
  • You are considered a NO SHOW if you are more than 30 minutes late. You will be charged the full rental price and your boat may be rented to someone else. Please call us at 903.786.2250 if you are running late.
  • All boats must be returned to fuel dock by the return time on your contract. All-Day and PM Rentals must be back to the marina by dark or when the fuel dock closes (whichever is earlier). There is a late fee of $100 per hour (for each hour or portion thereof) for late returns.
  • There are no refunds / credits for late arrivals or early returns except when caused by inclement weather.
  • Boats are confirmed by same category and not by a specific boat. We reserve the right to switch boats due to scheduling or maintenance issues.
  • Customers agree to follow all federal, state, and local laws, as well as our rules and regulations in your contract with us.
  • Operating any boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If for any reason we feel that your age, condition, behavior, or attitude may put yourself, your group, other people, our equipment, property, or staff in jeopardy, we will not rent to you.
  • Check-In Time is 3pm

  • Quiet Hours are from 11p-7p – Please respect your neighbors.
  • Camping by reservation in designated sites only.
  • No Tent Camping Allowed
  • No Day Use in RV Sites
  • No camping in non-recreational vehicles (vans, pickups, etc)
  • Fires in firepits only. Observe Burn Ban.
  • No more than one RV and 1 cars or rv and one boat per site. (no more than two vehicles)
  • Max Occupancy: 6 person per site (no more than 4 adults)
